you know like rape, a violent attack, witnessing something horrendous, feeling like you were going to die and were powerless to stop it etc.

to watch spoilt little brats trying to claim that disagreeing with their definition of a term or their opinion about something is ‘triggering’ them actually disgusts me.

don’t appropriate the language of people who have been through genuine traumatic experiences as manipulative tools for silencing people who disagree with you.

you’re not triggered - a bruised ego is not a flashback or a panic attack or needing three days shut in your house calming your nervous system down before you can handle the world again.

get over yourselves.
